Double Wedding Ring

The day started with a lot of nerves, but after Lise explained the technique the women soon relaxed.

It seems that ordinary hairspray is a must to stiffen the fabric!

It was amazing that the paper-pieced arches could be attached by a miniature blanket-stitch.

The most difficult part was the connecting triangles, but as usual Lise also had a easy plan for it.

Here is Sunette Kotze's DWR on the left.  She is a new quilter and I am so proud of her for developing in a pro in such a short time.

On the right is Linda Lubbe's beautiful DWR.  Note the initials in the centre - I think it is so special as it is a wedding gift to her daughter.

Charlotte Strauss also completed her striking green and purple DWR.
