Lone Star

And so three totally freaked out quilters started their Lone Stars under Lise's supervision.

I was surprized how little fabric was needed to make a wall-hanging of about 130cmx130cm!

Only 35cm of the four colours each and 1m of the background fabric - it's amazing!

The strips were cut 2,5 inches wide and just look how stunning it is!

I am sure all three of the brave quilters will do another Lone Star soon, because if you know the trick,

it's all plain sailing as you can see from Magda Kruger's attempt on the right.  She is from Colesberg.
